Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often about buying, installing and supporting commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.

Buying equipment

Do you sell both new and second-hand commercial equipment?

Yes. We quote new equipment from established manufacturers and inspected second-hand machines from hotel refurbishments, laundry upgrades and trade-ins. Where both routes are viable we show both options in the same quotation, with the condition report and warranty position for any used unit.

How do I know a refurbished machine is in good condition?

Every second-hand unit is inspected mechanically and electrically, run under load, cleaned and refurbished where needed. You receive a written condition report naming what was tested, what was replaced and what remains worn, together with photographs of the actual machine and a statement of the warranty position.

What sizes of industrial washing machines do you supply?

Washer-extractors are typically available from 10 kg to 120 kg load capacity, in hard-mounted or soft-mounted versions, with electrical, gas or steam heating, and with barrier or hygienic configurations for healthcare and food-production linen.

Can you install the equipment, or is it delivery only?

Both. You can order delivery only, delivery with positioning, or a full installation and commissioning package including connection to services, test runs and operator handover. The exact scope is written into the quotation so there is no ambiguity on site.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock second-hand units are usually dispatched within a few working days of order confirmation. New appliances commonly take two to six weeks depending on the manufacturer and model. Complete projects are scheduled after the site survey. Lead times are stated on every quotation.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship internationally and quote either delivered at place or ex-works, with the Incoterm stated on the offer. Import duties, taxes and customs clearance are normally the customer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Do you supply spare parts for the machines you sell?

Yes. We source consumables and spare parts for the equipment we supply, including door gaskets, seals, belts, hoses, filters, heating elements, valves and control components. Send the machine model and serial number with your request for the fastest response.

What warranty applies?

New machines carry the manufacturer's warranty stated on the quotation, typically 12 to 24 months. Inspected second-hand machines carry a warranty stated per unit in the condition report, commonly 3 to 12 months on mechanical and electrical function. Some trade units are sold as seen. Full details are in our returns and warranty policy.

How do I get a quotation?

Complete the request form on our quote page with your volumes, utilities, delivery location and required date, or email [email protected]. We reply within one business day, ask any clarifying questions, and then issue a written quotation covering equipment, delivery, installation scope, warranty and lead times.

Can you help size a laundry for our linen volumes?

Yes. Send your typical weekly linen volumes by type (bed linen, towelling, table linen, workwear) and your operating hours. We calculate kilos per hour at each stage, then specify washing, drying and finishing capacity that matches the workflow rather than a single machine specification.

Do you handle removal of old equipment?

Removal and responsible disposal of replaced appliances is available as an added service and can be included in the quotation. Where the old machine still has value we can also discuss trade-in against new or refurbished equipment.

Which payment terms apply?

Payment terms are confirmed in writing with each order, typically a deposit on order with the balance before dispatch for stock items, or stage payments for installation projects. We do not take payment details through this website.
